The project is a part of the plan of requalification of an oil-burning central into a modern clean coal system. In this case, we realized the walls made of sandwich panels of a series of towers and galleries supported by a metallic structure. The size is noteworthy, since the towers reach the height of 60 m, while the several galleries reach lengths of 200 m each, for a total of some km. The galleries contain some conveyor belts and connect the towers with the stocking silos, with the discharge area near the dock and to the ovens. Both the towers and the galleries are not regularly shaped elements, since they have different shake and inclinations, change of directions and particular orientations.

Il progetto rientra all’interno della generale riconversione della centrale elettrica da olio combustibile a carbone pulito. Nel caso specifico ci si è occupati dei rivestimenti con pannelli sandwich di una serie di torri e di gallerie in struttura metallica. Le dimensioni sono considerevoli in quanto le torri raggiungono altezze anche di 60 m mentre le gallerie raggiungono lunghezze di oltre 200 m ciascuna, coprendo complessivamente qualche km. Le gallerie contengono al loro interno dei nastri trasportatori e collegano le torri con i silos di stoccaggio, con la zona di scarico presso la banchina e con i forni. Sia le torri che le gallerie non sono elementi perfettamente regolari ma presentano riseghe, inclinazioni, cambi di direzione e articolazioni particolari.
