The two main facades of the museum are entirely made of steel and glass and they are 25 m wide and 20m high. They have a particular “funnel” shape - the central vertical part at the entrance, the two vertical sides and the overlooking part are inclined towards the inside of the building. The glass surfaces are two for each side, one of which is exposed to the outside and the other one is addressed to the inside with a distance of 100 cm between the two, in order to create a “double-skin”. The rectangular, triangular and trapezoidal shaped glasses, are supported by special clamps located at the ends of the glasses and supported by a net of steel wires placed vertically, horizontally and inclined.

Le due facciate principali del museo sono interamente in acciaio e vetro e hanno ciascuna una larghezza di circa 25 m ed un’altezza di circa 20 m. Esse hanno una conformazione particolare ad “imbuto” ovvero una parte centrale verticale e normale all’ingresso, le due parti laterali verticali e inclinate verso l’interno e la parte superiore inclinata anch’essa verso l’interno dell’edificio. Le superfici in vetro sono due per ciascuna facciata, una esposta all’esterno e una verso l’interno ad una distanza di circa 100 cm a formare una sorta di “doppia pelle”. Le lastre in vetro di forma rettangolare, triangolare e trapezia, sono sostenute da speciali morsetti posti negli spigoli delle lastre e sostenuti da un intreccio di funi in acciaio disposte in senso verticale, orizzontale e inclinato.
