Power station chimney tower

The project consists in the realization of a metallic carpentry tower in order to support six chimneys of a power house in Kenya. The tower, having a rectangular base, reaches the height of circa 65.00 m. The tower is divided into three parts. Starting form the bottom, the first part presents a pyramidal shape, the other two have a constant rectangular shape. At half height, there are boardwalks with parapets and railings for the manteinance works of the station. The access to those platforms is made by external ladders. Around the tower, along the whole height, the supporting elements for the chimneys are placed at a constant distance. The diameter of each chimney is 1600 mm.
